< STATEMENT OF INTANT >
|
|||||||||||||
| The textile industry has been growing through the ages and from it various creative manufacturing techniques such spinning, weaving, and dyeing has developed. As a result the design and shape of textile art has also been developing. Each era and region of the world with its individual culture has shaped the industry we know today. This industry is diversifying with the evolution of technology. From now on the artists and designers who are involved with the textile industry should not be tied down to traditional thinking about the production of textiles but must study the techniques of manufacturing and the structure of the materials. Furthermore, they must keep challenging new expressions in design. Since we are carrying on the education and creativity in this new age, we are looking for design that expresses rich humanity and crosses over borders of race and country and traditional concepts of material that cross over art and design. Our goal is creating and educating new artists. |
